Surf-N-Burn, The Blue Stringrays

This may be a recording from as recent as 1997, but it has a great laid back '60s vibe to it, with a little country soul and a little south seas stirred in for good measure!

One of my favorite albums from the '90s in fact, and perfect for cocktail hour at the tiki hut, but what I didn't know for ages was that the Blue Stingrays were actually Tom Petty's backing band, The Heartbreakers, doing some moonlighting!

And they have that surf sound down pat by the way. I also dig the very cool cover of this LP, with the use of a classic shot by the legendary Leroy Grannis.

Condition
This is an import in near mint condition, with a beautiful cover and as new black vinyl by Epitone, California.
