For all those lovers of Black Velvet oil paintings, and I'm one, this is a must-have hardcover book published in Hawaii by Bernard Davis in 1969.
We're not talking about those naff mass-produced velvets from Mexico and the Philippines here, but the real deal!
My old man painted some serious velvets from the 50s right through to the 80s on the Gold Coast, and was friends with Davis who discovered Edgar Leeteg and sold his art through his gallery in Honolulu, for many years.
Condition VG++ condition!
