This is a fabulous example of the late '60s transitional era in Australian surf design when boards were being produced under 9' with lots of width and plenty of rolled vee.
This is a rare Hayden from the Summer of Love period measuring 8'6" x 24" with red hi-density foam stringer and unique polycarbonate fin.
This has obvious overtones of Bob McTavish and the crew working at the Hayden factory at this time.
Condition An unrestored original in 9/10 condition! Only minor fractures and suntan but still displays beautifully.
Comment Rare example, museum quality, will always hold its value.
