This is one serious little collectable! Manufactured in small numbers by Jamie Farfor in Postsea, Victoria, during the 1960s by utilizing hoop pine plywood formed into a spoon shape in a concrete mould.
These paipo or bellyboards were based on what Farfor had seen used in California during the summer of 1960.
His use of vivid colours and tapa designs really set these 42" x 29" boards apart from other boards being made in Australia.
Condition Rates a 9/10 and with nice little period fins added at some later stage.
