Dick Van Straalen Spirit of the Sea

Yes, a very rare Dick Van Straalen shape from the early '70s known to collectors as the Spirit of the Sea model.

One of the hardest boards to find in any condition! 

This original is 6'4" x 20" x 3" with a fabulous fin and no legrope plug fitted. 

Has obviously seen plenty of surf action but she's straight and all there. 

Van Straalen occasionally builds a replica of this model by the way, complete with reproduction of this famous mermaid laminate.

6/10 with all necessary ding repairs already done, but full resto not difficult as she's an off white pigment job.
