The Skateboard Book

This is a bible for old school skateboarding from the mid-70s by Ben Davidson, and no decent skateboard collection would be complete without it!

The original publication came out in the US in 1976 and this one is the 1978 printing, and in hardcover.

The complete book of skateboarding, America's fastest growing sport, and with over seventy photographs and drawings it certainly covers much of what was big at the time.

The front cover shot is by Warren Bolster by the way, and there are lots of other great period shots throughout this book.

Condition
Good but not great by any means. The usual wear that most ex-library books have, but one hundred and nine good clean pages, with no cut outs!

It's ex-library from Charlotte, N.C. and has the usual wear and tear and rubber stamping on the inside front and back as you'd expect! But it's worth the price just for the cool illustrations and information between the covers.
