Don Hansen made surfboards from around 1962 in California after kicking off his career the previous year on Oahu's North Shore. Whether this is one of his shapes we aren't sure.
It was part of the late Chris Bystrom's collection and he had it displayed in his Retro Groove Surf Shop in Coolangatta.
Measures 6'9" x 19" x 3". A little on the heavy side as this is an early resto job with a two pack respray and clear coat.
Condition Resprayed in similar colours to original. Has been surfed after the restoration resulting in a few stress marks on the deck.
