Here's a very rare Sunshine Coast 8'4" Hewston shaped by Kevin Platt circa 1967.
Platt was at the forefront of design on the Sunny Coast during the late '60s period and this is a fabulous example.
Lots of rocker but very little vee in the bottom, fine rails, foam stringer (wedge shape) with resin glue-ups and a Greenough style fin make this lightweight a top little rider!
Condition Original, unrestored apart from necessary ding repairs and a fresh gloss coat makes this an 8/10 that displays well.
Comment A rare addition to any decent surfboard collection and sure to appreciate in value over the coming years!
